Expo 8.8 swap!

No problem.
ABS speed sensor. Depending on what year Explorer (or Ranger for that fact), it's also the gauge speed sensor. You should carry over your truck's existing sensor anyway because they changed over the years.
FYI: you'll want to shoot for 3.25(tube dia) and 2.5(leaf width).

Reusing shock mounts is no biggie. You can actually clock them on the housing to make stock length shocks work on a lifted application.
Spring plate....just drill out the holes and you should be fine with your new ubolts for the larger housing dia.
Rear sway bars came factory on some Rangers....even up to current day (errrr.... lol). They're like 5/8" diameter...so they're puny. A popular mod for lowered guys and even lifted guys looking for more stability is swapping on BroncoII rear sway bars. If memory serves me correctly, they're offered 3/4" and 7/8" diameters?

I removed my swaybars LONG ago. If my memory serves me correctly the sway bar mount was in the way so I just ground the welds down and pounded them off.

You can use them but you'll have to modify them (the lower shock mount is incop. into them) I just grabbed a set of u-bolt plates off of a 80-96 2wd F150 (2.5" wide springs with 3.25 axle tube) or just get them from above mentioned suppliers for around $40.00.

Got some work done today! Photobucket's being retarded, so I don't have pics to post at the moment.... Ground down and hammered off all of the old mounts and smoothed it out as best I could. I did go into the axle tube about a 16th of an inch, so I was thinking about having my buddy weld some metal into the dips so it's not a weak spot...although I did hear that welding it will actually make it weaker? That true? Anyways...Got that done, pulled the diff cover and checked the gears out. They're fine. Slight bit of pinion slop, but nothing to sneeze over.
Now another question... Is it possible for me to pull the dust covers off of the brake setup? I have one from a 96, and it looks like the e-brake uses it...

Pictures, finally.
DJ, like I said. It's hardly any at all. Once it's all installed, I'm gonna take it to a garage and have them look it over and put the ebrake cables on. So I'll ask them about it.

Could these be used for shock mounts? They say they fit any axle.

yeah, I actually learned a good visual with legos haha. I dunno how to really explain it. but I think like those 3 smalle gears are in side another sort of gear housing thing, basically so they can rotate and different speeds.
See this diagram? with an open diff, you don't need all those gears since one axle spins independently without getting any power from the driveshaft. of course, this is from me playing with legos and making assumptions, so if I'm totally wrong feel free to blast me. That's my understanding of it though.
EDIT: I think I'm misleading you.... sorry. maybe these will help.

You dont seem to understand. There is no locker AVAILABLE for the case you have in that axle. That means you will now be purchasing a new open case AND the locker now instead of just a locker. Or you could go all out and spend the $850-1000 on a full locker.
