i think my tranny is poop lol. its a 3.0 auto. carrying on, i was driving and i heard a loud grinding noise and loss of power while driving and then it would do it in park. and then today driving the tranny sounded totally different then normal but no grinding or loss of power it just seemed confused.. so i'm assuming its the tranny. i also no i need a belt tensioner but that would have anything to do with a loud grinding noise or loss of power it would just squeal sometimes.

my truck is pretty mint no dents or anything. high miles like 207000 but the the thing is so soild and hate to see it go :(. so i dont no what i should do spend the 800 in a tranny or sell as is.

how much longer do you plan on keeping the truck? if the motor is good and its not rusted out then id put a trans in it

 

one rust hole in the bed but its and easy fix but other then that the thing is clean and runs great. strong motor for its mileage

 

yeah sounds like its worth the 800 bucks to keep it going
