Timken Hubs. Worth it?!?
I need new hub assemblies. Threads that helped but I still have some questions.

Rockauto has Timkens for $145 each, autozone wants $215 for one. They have a 1 yr warranty. I've seen where some folks say these are the best and others say they suck.
I've found some cheaper China brand ones for $150 a pair. They have a lifetime warranty but I've read they wear out real fast.
Are the Timkens really worth the extra price? Will they last? Another brand or place to get them you might recommend?
Thanks.

Well I went and checked everywhere here in town. Got prices of 210, 215, 250, and 285 all with just 1yr warranties. Napa didn't have the timkens, they had SKF or something like that.
So I gotta go Rockauto. Sucks I couldn't find anything with a lifetime warranty. I guess I'll just have to changed them out once a year. lol
Thanks for all the suggestions.

My napa didn't have timken hub/bearings for my f150 either. I was pressed for time and wanted to replace it the same day. Napa had skf and my mechanic said he has always had good luck with them so I bought it.
For what it's worth, a lot of timken bearings are from Mexico and even china, but I think they have better QC than most.
