Would a rebuilt 98 transfercase fit on an 03 5spd tansmission?

 

Yes the BW1354 will fit any year ranger.

 

1.considering a swap of an 03 4.0 sohc 4x4 into a 98 4.0 ohv 4x4, will the newer engine and transmission mounts line up the same?

2.if the answer to the above question is yes, will the 03 front driveshaft bolt into the 98 front axle without modification?

 

it should bolt right in.

 

including the engine and transmission? and would i have to if i instead of using a rebuilt 98 t-case use a 03 t-case would i have to rewire the 4x4 switch?
