gota few ?
hey guys its been a while since i posted but i have a friend who works at a jy and he told me i can get some parts from some of the explorers so i wanted to know since m cv's are blown if i could pull the hub assembly and cv's out of a 01 explorer and put them into my 2000 ranger.

Yes. If your truck has automatic hubs, you will NEED both the cv joints AND the hub/bearing assemblies.
If your truck has live axles already, you just need the CV joints/shafts.
However there is probably a fair chance that you'll get bad hub/bearing units or something. Reman CVs are fairly cheap too.
