Humming when turning right
1997 2.3L Standard cab. Everything stock. ~145k miles.
Trying to figure out why my truck makes this, rather loud, humming noise when I turn right. It sounds exactly like something is rubbing against the tire tread or the noise trucks with large mud tires make while doing 50mph on concrete. Gets louder the faster I make the turn, but makes the noise no matter how sharp the turn is. So even if I slightly move right to change lanes, I can hear it. Doesn't do it at all when turning left. It's made the noise since I bought the truck 7-8 months ago. Since then I've had it on a lift several times looking for something that might rub against the tires (brake lines, wheel well covers, debris, etc) without finding anything. I've also had the tires replaced with brand new ones. Made zero change. Brakes are good. Power steering fluid looks fine and plenty of fluid in the rear diff.
