10.25" Summit Rotors + Hawk Pads

As I went to look for upgraded rotors for my '98 B3000, I couldn't find any for the smaller 10.25" Rotors... not EBC, not Powerstop, not even NAPA! LOL!

As I looked on Summit's site, they showed their own branded rotors, slotted and drilled. I did'nt wanna go drilled but for $75/ea. I said.. eh, what the heck!

Anyway, here's what I got....

First, the Victim.

The Stuff

What came off

A couple'a shots installed

What's with that Red chit, Raoul?
Wrecked the original bearing caps taking them off and, because it was Saturday afternoon and no Mazda/Ford parts dealers open, hadda make do with NAPA ones that weren't deep enough (bottomed-out on the spindle nose You can see I really tried to make them fit! LOL!) Anyway, I Hadda do sumthin!

So I made sure they were centered and clean and used some tacky gasket sealer to hold them 'til Monday when I can get some new ones from the dealer.

The silver chit is anti-seize for the threads and rotor nose, just to keep the rusting down.

Right Side

Edit: Wow, they went up 5 bux since I ordered them Wednesday!

I started this thread to maybe help peeps out that were looking for an upgrade to the smaller sized rotors. Lord know it needs the help, the stockers kept warping!

my 2000 had the small rotors.

The change came mid year 2000 to the 11.28 for the 2wd at least.

I thought the brake size was dependent on the payload package.
