So if i have a 96 supercab what kind of solid driveshaft do i need i heard it had to do with wheel base and and engine size??

I swapped mine out on a 95 ext cab it took longer to remove the center support than reinstalling the new one. After about 40000 mi not a prob. actually the truck drives much smoother . Mine was 138.00 delivered from LKQ to my door, nice shiny alum. Joe
