well take the drive shaft, then tase, then get the tranny lines and cable unhooked then the torque converter then the bell housing bolts and slide it out. you will have to take the y pipe out too.
On a 3.0 there is one bell housing bolt thats easy to miss. Once you pull the starter off you will be able to see it, it goes thru from the engine side.
Does anyone know what size the torx bit is for the front driveshaft? I see that the rear needs a 12mm 12 sided ratchet but it looks like the front is a torx.
So I got the pan drained, and the rear drive shaft off. Tomorrow im driving 100 miles one way to get a tranny for 200. Hopefully can get the transmission almost out saturday morning.
Dang, A guy scammed me into buying a manual(I only knew autos had a torque converter, and he lied saying he used it) but im not driving 200 more miles just to get my money back.
