Has anyone else experienced this?

just wondering about something i've noticed since i bought this truck last week. it seems like its a little restricted when you initially take off in 1st gear, or reverse. it only last a second or so then it goes away when the rpm's go up. the best way i know how to describe it is it feels like the parking brake is barely on then its released. this is my first 4 banger so i'm not quite use to it yet, i've always had V8's. i've changed all the fluids in it, and the previous owner said he had the plugs and wires, and fuel pump all changed back in the spring. it seems to run pretty good but i am just curious about what i'm feeling when i first take off in it. i've also noticed these motors don't like to be bogged down, you have to keep the rpm's up to keep them moving. what do you guys think?
