HELP!!! Dead Clutch
I have a major problem. Sometimes when I push in my clutch it goes completely dead. And every time it does I have to pump it hard to get it back working. After I do that, I have a lot more play in it. The fluid level is good. I am thinking the throw out bearing or the clutch plate, do ya'll have other ideas?

Replace the master, the slave and the pressure line between them, i have seen them where the line will have a pinhole and suck in a drop of air, you ave it off anyway and it is easier to put the line on with everything off of the truck because that roll pin is a PITA to get in on the truck

I would change the master first, Since its so much easier. just getting the thing bled is a pain, You have to unbolt it, Tip it as far up as you can, Leave the rod for the pedal on it, And have someone push on that rod while you hold it tilted upward.
We Just replaced the slave in mine, When we took it apart, the old slave didnt look too bad, it wasn't leaking or anything, but after we couldnt get it to work, we had to replace the master too. I think both of mine were either bad, or about to go bad since they were so old, So it was ok. But It might save you a lot of time.
