posi swap question???
Hey guys, I just swapped in a limited slip from an 04 Mustang GT to my 01 Ranger 4.0
4x4. Works like a champ and only took one and a half hours. Simple. I have a question though. I saw that the carriers were the same except the Mustang carrier does not have the toothed clocking ring on it for the ABS wheel speed sensor (and its part of the carrier itself, non removable), so it throws an ABS light, which I knew it would do. my question is can I somehow fool the ABS sensor, or trick the ABS system somehow??? Or can I put a different wheel speed sensor in to trick it???
Any help would be appreciated, but if I have to live with an ABS light I will, either that or remove the bulb. The LS is way nicer that 1 wheel pushing.
