Read my diff dog tag

I tried a search. Can anyone tell me what gear ratio I have?

Its an 04 edge 3.0.

youre missing the first number which is probably a 4. it should be like this...

4 10 88 3j05

first set is the gear ratio, second is axle id

looks like 4.10's to me you can also go by your door jam sticker and look it up on ranger station

I looked for a door jam sticker too. It is not there. I didn't take it off. Under the fuel door there is a tire size/pressure sticker. thats it.

Maybe it's the ultra rare 4.56 ratio from the factory?

How old is your gear oil? Just change the fluid and while you have the cover off count the teeth on the ring gear and divide that buy the number of teeth on the pinion gear. 4Lo.com :: Ring and Pinion Ratio Calculator

L/S. Is that Limited Slip? Better than Open but not as good as a Locker? Am I close? This is new to me.

Can you see if anything is before the 1? Cant tell from the pic if there is a L there or not.

I looked again and there is nothing there. Like there was nothing stamped. Its not worn off.

Well the I would think its not limited slip then. Its probably an open diff.

Theres no way to tell if its a limited slip or not, you can see anything before the 10. I'd put my money on it being open though.
