Rear axle seals are a pretty common part and i've never had a problem finding any. Try Rockauto.

8660S for a 7.5" axle
8835S for an 8.8" axle

If your parts store can't find these for you... you need to find a new parts store. lol

Unless it was me. I had 8835s and it looked too big. Axle is def an 8.8 cuz the gasket I got fit it.

well, i have a 8.8 axle and when i did mine i had gotton the seals ahead of time, they were too big when i took it down, went back to autozone and they claimed i really had the 7.5 rearend. get both and take back the ones that wont work. i know i have a 8.8 , have a 8.8 cover, and its a 4.0 supercab. it is the older 28 spline 8.8 though, that may be the difference. heres my write-up when i did mine this past spring-->http://www.therangerstation.com/Maga...shaft_seal.htm

I had the rear diiff pinion seal go when i bought the truck now as a journeyman I want to know why because the previous owner said in three years he had had the work done three times I am mentioning this as it might help I checked the run out on the driveline and bearing plus pinion preload everything was as it should be so why do these seals keep going anyway i checked the differential breather by pushing a bit of wire in it it went to the bottom of the breather then stopped so i removed the breather and sure enough was blocked with rust and gunge cleaned it out and problem solver new breather pipe installed most people probably know this amongst you but I thought I would mention it
