Interesting decision on the tranny swap...
Haha nah, I can get half shafts (If you mean CV's) for about $50 so it's no big deal. They're no different than mine I have now. I already have a superlift front driveline too, so that one is also pointless. But thanks for the thought!

I'm going in just a few mins to check out that B2 for a possible shifter for my truck. Then ordering up the fx4 shifter ball!

Yeah buddy.... the stock shifter won't reach the trans with your body lift without an extension..... just trying to keep ya from getting all that work done and then the truck is immobile.

So shane... What I'm gonna do...

Use the stock shifter and cut it up. Use one of those new shifters I got today (the mazda ones) and cut it up. Use the top piece that's chrome with the threads on it for the top half of the shifter, use the cut up stock shifter on the bottom half and use a new piece of round stock in between the pieces for the "shifter extension"

Don't worry, it won't turn out like the hockey puck idea. lol

So quick question.... Instead of spending money on a hose for the slave and master cylinder.... Can I just run a rubber hose from the master to slave? My master is fine and I took the plastic hose off that steel fitting tonight.

I think you should just save yourself the trouble and just send me the trans.. I'll need to replace mine sooner or later.

I would think some steel braided line should work..

depends on the kind of "rubber hose" you want to use..

Well I'll go get hoses that are made to stand up against like corrosive fluids... All braided lines are are steel around a rubber hose anyways. You aren't going to see the trans so I don't need it to look pretty, just functional.

idk, i don't have steel braided brake lines for looks.. just function

Besides, steel braided lines dont stretch and bulge out like rubber hoses do, is that a good reason for you?

It just has to be able to hook onto the master cylinder and the slave. I'll try and find some near me but we'll see.
