an aftermarket valve body kit is gonna work in basically the same way a new larger diameter set of brake lines would work. They are going to allow more fluid to be moved which in turn will allow for quicker more precise shifting. The big concern, in my opinion would be snapping a shear shaft, or possibly breaking a cv joint.
As far as working with doug's tuner, i have no idea, but i would advise against it. I would think that the extra shifting power mated with the extra power from the engine could spell trouble, especially with oversize tires

i think he means will the tuner, which should, raise shift points clash with the manual shift kit.
my personal opinion, i would go with hard parts over simply boosting line pressure. a shift kit replaces the springs and boost valves (boost valves hold fluid during a shift to keep it firm and keep a constant line pressure, amung allowing more fluid to travel).
the boosting tranny line pressure can and will overtax the stock valve body springs and will cause failure eventually.
working on a valve body isnt hard but requires precision and keeping EVERYTHING clean.

im prety sure my valve body is goin bad and ive just been wanting a shift kit.lol
ok well i wanna run a new upgraded valve body, shift kit, and dougs tune. lol think im asking for trouble?
btw just to add into the mix i pull a trailer alot of the time. and i have put over 20k miles since march totaling to 55k now

i was told inorder to check line pressure and the valve body working correctly is too...
put the truck in 1st manualy, and in a parking lot start to take off get the rpms in the half way range 3-4k and then let off the gas, if the engine feels like it is slowing you down then it is working properly, if it feels like it just coasts along, you are loosing line pressure or you dont have enough line pressure, replacing the valve body can help save the transmission.
