So I put myself on a list to go up to Oklahoma again,
to help prepare blackhawk helicopter's (do their maintenance) to
go to Hati. Wouldn't you know it about that time my driver's side
wheel bearing starts groaning and grinding.....GRRRRRRRRRRRRR
So after about 3 hours ...half of that time is trying to get the
STUPID AZZ FAWKING cv stub shaft retaining SPRING CLIP/WASHER
POS that Ford thought was a good IDEA out.....OMG what a pain.
And of COURSE...wheel bearings are like 200$ damn dollars....
And FORD want's $22.00 for those spring/retainers. And you can only
get them from Ford. Auto parts store's don't carry them. I thought it
came with the new bearing Assembly. NOPE! grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Finally got that out, changed out the wheel bearing and it's all BUENO now
I think next on the list is new leaf springs...I put my Snap-on Roll cab in the bed and hauled it up there, and my rear suspension still hasn't recovered yet...LOL...I'll get some pics....it's sad.
