I also have another question about the Hurst shifter. I know that my hurst is leaking but it is really hard to tell from where. There is a little oil on top of the trans as expected but there is also oil that has run doing the passenger side of the engine near the oil filter and header flange.
I am having trouble distinguishing between the red (trans) and light brown (motor) oil. I think that I may have put a little too much oil in at the last oil change and it has pushed its way out?
How do I know if a seal has blown or its it just the hurst leaking?
