Torsen for front D35's

Looks like they are finally going to start making them. I was looking at SEMA's picture website and came across this,

Strange looking beast. Outwardly, nothing like the 8.8 version.

That picture is the one from the link in my post, which would mean it was taken within the past week at SEMA 09.

Not me. I've heard rumors for years but this is the first picture I've seen.

doubtful. two were built many years ago, and beat to hell and back already.

if you really want this style diff for the front, and the torsen still never comes out, detroit makes a tru-trac that fits the ranger front....

I suspect that the Summit listing of the 912A569 Truetrac for the SLA Ranger front axle is bogus.

The only app listed in the manufacturer's catalog for the 912A569 is for the Jeep/Dana 35 rear. The Jeep uses a conventional D35 which has a wider carrier that the oddball narrow version in the SLA Ranger/Explorer.

dang summit.....

i knew the jeep rear 35 is different, but never looked past summits listing cause i couldnt afford one anyhow. interesting that they list it for the dodge SLA front as well as the ford...
