Drive shaft parking brake... and rear discs

Basically, I've been thinking about brakes a lot. I recently found my parking brakes don't hold me on the boat ramp with boat in tow. I think maybe they need adjusting but I still got to looking...

I found this kit for the ranger, supposedly. Well two, I assume one for 28 spline and one for 31.

These should work, shouldnt they? it's not really a bargain over piecin things together and cutting some brackets, but it would be nice to have a complete kit.
calipers with parking brake, $300 a pair seems expensive? possibly get rear calipers from an expo or mustang?
thoughts on this? maybe they would sell just the brackets.

also... i just found out about drive shaft parking brakes, ineteresting... ever seen one on a ranger? that should certainly hold on the boat ramp. again, not cheap, but what is?

I'm looking more into this now. a pinion brake is pointless on our trucks

A little pricey... $300 for calipers with parking brake, $50 for stainless lines and $270 for the kit... $620... But it is easier than trying to piece something together from scratch

yeah if its good stuff though not too bad. easy to spend $200 on a pair of rotors, so $70 for brackets and hardware. get some calipers on ebay probably.
