2002 FX4. I just dropped my 5 speed manual tranny and the piolet bearing is completely gone. The input shaft where it rides in the bearing is rough. I assume just polishing is not adequate, and I will need to replace the input shaft to the tranny. Can this be accessed from the front of the case, or do I need to pull everything out?
