Yep, D's got a t5 behind his 4.0L SOHC. BUT.....you can do it with a 2wd easily like him....but i see your truck is a 4x4....there are no adaptors out there to mate a T5 to a BW1354 tcase. it's not a hydraulic clutch either, so you'd be converting to a cable clutch which would require pedal mods.

You can make it a hydraulic clutch using the set up from a new 4.0 mustang.

very true..forgot about that.

BUT...again...i'll note....you've got a tcase to mate to it too.....i think i see a divorced tcase as an option though...but that'll require a new tcase as well as lengthend front shaft and shortend rear shaft and a new short shaft to be made.

Yes S10's had T5's. Stealing the tailshaft off an S10's tailshaft is a great way to keep the shifter up near the stock position.

Can you use a Jeep/S10 4wd T5 trans tailhousing to mate to a Ranger t-case? Is it even close?

RPS didn't know.

It will mate up but if I remember right... the shifter is several inches behind the one in the ranger...

Doesn't NicksterSVT have a T5 in his truck also?

That's why the S10 tailshaft is used alot of the time to move the shifter forward to the stock location. Here is a pic of where the shifter sits on my T5, stock with a mustang tailshaft.
