Icon2 What size u-joints for 2001 2.3l?

I believe my u-joint is going bad on my truck (2001 2.3L). As I reverse I hear a squeak that rises as speed goes up... put it in neutral while going backwards down my driveway and the noise instantly disappears. Put it in reverse and the noise comes back.

My main question is what size U-joint do I need? I was on rock auto and they have a TON, which quite frankly I have no clue which ones to get...

Does the driveshaft use two (front and rear?)

I have taken the driveshaft off before when doing a front trans seal and rear out put shaft seal on the diff, so I have no problem taking the thing off... just don't know anything about u-joints.

Thanks much,
-Nigel

Wanted to update:

I purchased 1310 ujoints for my ranger... They were too small. The correct size for my 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 2.3L Auto were 1330's.

Thanks much,
-Nigel
