T-Case Swap is done but...?

The 4 high and 4 lo lights now come on and blink intermittently when the truck is running. The case came out of an 87' so we had to make a custom linkage mount bracket and extension for the linkage. The only thing i have left to do is make a new center console and buy a boot for the floor. i just wanna know how to get the lights to go out. obviously i could cut a wire or something but if there is a way to fix it the right way and maybe even make the lights work with case that would be nice. thanks
