What am I doing wrong?

I have been trying to search the forum for hours to avoid asking questions that have been asked 100 times before. I go to search this forum and type in 4X4 and select go and I get no results found. How is that when there are threads on the first page with 4X4 in the title.
Thanks

For starters this should have been in general chit chat or site questions at the top.

What is you question about 4x4?

I tried 4x4 and 4X4 and got 0 results as well

I guess it doesn't like the numbers

Try this search: *4x4*

The * is a wild card and search engines do like that

Trying to disable/remove 3rd party alarm has caused 4WD electrics to quit.

In this thread he just wanted to know why "4x4" didn't get in hits in a search.
It didn't I tried too.

Have to add the * wildcard to get the search working

Sorry, I didn't read that thread. Good luck in your search. It sounds like whoever installed the alarm hacked into the 4wd electronics.
