33 inch tires. What gears?

Hey guys, just a quick question. Im having trouble figuring out the best gears I should pick up. Im assuming this would be a transmission question. The trucks a 2WD 3.0L V6, the gears are stock while the trucks on 33's. I've had people recommend 4.10's as well as 4.53's (I think that was the other option.) Can you guys give me a recommendation or point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

I've run 33s on 4.10s for a while and do not like the overall performance.
With the 5-sp I am shifting on al most every hill and then run the rpms up so high on long hills the engine is screaming at me.

The 4.56s will bring up the rpms enough to get the little 3.0 working in a better rpm range and improve the overall driving experience.

The 4.88 will make the 3.0 pull like a ****** but you will run out of rpms fast with the little 3.0L.

The 4.56s will give you a little seat of the pants feel and still have a little room to rev.

Now if we are talking 35s or 36s then 4.88s are the way to go… IMHO, that’s all !
