i broke my cv axle but looking at it know i think it's the bearings for the cv axle
today i went and played in some mud which didnt last long due to the cv axle breaking, and i don't know anything about trucks so i'm learning as i break stuff haha. i removed the whole cv axle to keep it from flopping around while i drove it back home so my question is can i still drive it around in 2wd with the cv axle removed? so what do i have to do to fix i'll try to get more pics up to help anybody anwer this question and thank's to the one's who replyed already

You don't have a signature, so we have no clue what your truck is...
But juding by the avatar, you've got a 01-05. And your wheel bearings stay together via the CV shaft being bolted to it. Don't drive it without a CV shaft, or at least your broken CV shaft cut in a fashion that you can bolt it to the hub. The wheel bearings could last 5 miles or could last 50ft. you don't really want the bearings falling apart on you while youre driving...
And....your front diff is full of fluid. Being a live axle truck, the axle internals are always moving. Taking a CV out and leaving the other in, your diff is still spinning and you'll be losing fluid out the side you removed the CV...which eventually will result in blown up front diff by overheating.
