Front Driveline Conversion :)

Hey guys and gals-

So heres the story, I needed to fix my front driveline because the CV head system (which sucks btw) was busted. My 4x4 shop said that this system sucks and I'm a former toyota guy (I've had 4 in 2 yrs lol) and so we wanted to see if we could change it to a different setup on the front driveline.

Anyways, I had the mechanic get under there and check it out. He ended up fabbing a driveshaft, found a flange yoke that will bolt up to the t-case, and converted it to a slip/stub u-bolt type system. :) now it works great, doesn't sound like a f*cked up driveline, and will be wayy cheaper to repair if i throw a u-bolt! :)

Looks AWESOME, Cody!! You now have yourself the $600 Superlift shaft. I built mine very very similarly to yours for about $300 using all new parts. May I ask how much you were charged??

Here's sort of a build thread of a couple folks shafts, mine included: https://www.ranger-forums.com/f37/fr...veshaft-73188/

By the way....YOU NEED TO ***** OUT YOUR TRUCK SOON!!!!!!!!!

Looks good. Did you have a stock driveshaft before?

And yeah it was a stock shaft before

And yes Shane I do!! I'm just trying a slowly put a little bit more money into it before I do :)
