4x4 messed up

hi guys
there is something seriously wrong with my 4x4. when i put it in 4 high my truck doesnt want to move and if i take it to about 25 it feels as if the front axle is very stiff like the gearing is starting to seize, ive never changed the gear oil and ive gone mudding alot should i change it.could that be the problem. also when the truck is 4 wheel and i let go of the steering wheel it autmatically goes to the right like the wheel its self will turn. my truck is a 2000 xlt 4x4 3.0
thanks alot guys

You probably got water in the case and/or front axle. Check the fluids. If they are milky then there is water in it. Being a 2000 you should change it anyway.

If its pulling to one side in 4wd they you probably blew the hub. Get some AVM hubs.

Front axle is 70w-90 gear oil and T case is Mercon ATF. The front fluid has to be sucked out of the fill hole. There is not enough room to pull the cover unless you drop the whole diff. The T case has the fill plug behind a black round thing bolted to the case. The drain is visible. Check your manual for fill quantities.
