Speed sensor?!

So I was driving my truck, and then the abs light came on, and the truck was stuck in 2nd gear (auto transmission). I then read some stuff on the internet about the speed sensor in the rear diff. Well i replaced the speed sensor today, and the truck is still not driving right. Anyone have a clue on what i should do?? I already checked the fuse also, so that is ruled out!

wow so after about an hour of fumbling around with the sensor,i decided i would take the cover off of the diff and then see if there was anything wrong. It turned out that there was still a piece of the old sensor still in the differential that was obstructing the new sensor. So in the end, i fixed the problem, and did some greatly needed maintenaince on the rear diff.

What I would do is take the cover off of the differential and then see if there is still a piece of the old sensor still in the differential and see if it's obstructing the new sensor.
