1993 Ford Ranger - 2.3L Turbo - $2100 (Akron, OH)

http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/2340723409.html

Im selling my toy, it's a 1993 Ford Ranger XLT with a 2.3 turbo engine from an '88 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe.
5 Spd Mazda MD05 Transmission.
Truck has 94k miles, engine has about 8k miles on it, runs great, and is very reliable.

GOOD:
Engine was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago
All new gaskets & valve seals.
'01 15" Mustang wheels
New fuel lines
New Fuel pump
New turbo w/ top mount intercooler
Comes with front mount intercooler from a Nissan Skyline
New cat, with a dump pipe before the cat. You can take off the cover in 2 min and have a free flowing exhaust
Also have an aluminum cap for the truck bed.

BAD:
Some rust around the wheel wells, and cab corner
Interior carpet is dirty
Truck needs a new blower motor for the heater.
A few chips in the windshield, no cracks
1 bald tire
A few teeth are broke on the flywheel, so the starter will sometimes not turn the engine over. I have another flywheel, just haven't had time to put it on yet.

The truck runs the stock boost of 10psi, and runs strong with the rebuilt engine. I've driven it all over the place, including out of state. This is my toy, but recently has been a daily driver. I'd like to sell it to someone who can enjoy it more than I can.

Email with any questions, open to trades.

Just needs lowered, shaved, wheels/tires and painted. The hardest part is done :) Good deal.

yeah i like it could be a better color or a second gen but its cool, i was going to do that with my truck except twin turbo it and 4X4 conversion and lift it but it spun a bearing so i'm replacing the engine and moving on, but yeah buy it and paint it a better color

Yeah just some paint and new wheels/tires would make this truck a real gem

I don't really like lowered trucks either but 2.3L Turbos are just cool.

It would be really sweet to have a 5.0 SAS D44/8.8 Ranger for trails and have a lowered 2.3L T Ranger for DD. Didn't Rangerboi do that for awhile? Have a lifted and a lowered Ranger I mean.

Yeah he did. I had a bagged ranger the same time I had my lifted one. The lifted was way better. I probably will never own another lowered truck.

I didn't know you had a bagged Ranger. I was considering lowering my Ranger since it's 2WD and all but Ohio winter changed my mind lol.

Plus, I really don't like lowered trucks all that much HAHA.

I think you had some camber issues lol

looked good though. Little too low for my taste. If I got one I would do a 4/5. Bagged is too much.
