Used Torsen 8.8 (28 spline), FL
Used, but looks good for $200
ford 8.8 torsen 28 spline differential mustang diff 4x4
Rear diff for Rangers, front diff for F-150s. I haven't seen one of these on ebay like this for over 2 years.

Buy that and have it blow up on me later on down the road? No thanks. And I dont think that will work on the F150's front diff.

I believe that problem has been fixed, and yes it will work in the front of an IFS F-150.
