It will work. I mis-spoke on the TTB thing. Sorry about the confusion.

TTB = Twin Traction Beam, some consider it to be ford's "independent front suspension"/"solid axle" hybrid. It was last used in Rangers in '97. There are both 2WD and 4WD TTB setups.

Here's a picture:

So did you win it? I see it went for $90

I almost did you dirty by bidding at the last minute but, I don't need it. I really wish someone would make a L/S for the dana 35. So I'll keep waiting on that for now

I'm waiting on the same thing. Hopefully the release later this Fall holds true.

Wasn't Torsen actually working on an L/S? But yes I did win this locker. I have manual hubs and that good stuff so this will be invisible most of the time.

Yes, according to Torsen tech support it should be released November 2009. We will see...

Well I couldn't have a front locker and open in the rear so I had to buy a trac-lok. Bought both for less than $250 shipped. Yay!

Congrats 0RangerEdge2!!! Glad to see someone here got it. Let us know how the install goes and take pictures!

If you run into any problems with the Lock-Right install, shoot me a PM. I've done those these things about 5 times now.

Thanks man. I don't think the install should be too bad. I mean me and a couple other members converted my truck to 4x4 with minimal problems so I hope we can handle this.

Lunchbox lockers are super easy. I don't think you'll have any problems.

The only problems I've ever run into is removing the c-clpis on an 8.8 after the thing was installed (made a c-clip pulling tool out of a coat hanger), and getting the cross pin out of a 7.5 due to gear clearance issues (did a bit of trimming with a grinder to gain enough clearance).

With your experience, you should be fine. If you need to remove it for some reason, the c-clip removal tool makes the job MUCH easier.
