why only 02-03?

 

It's what it came out of...their computer interchanges are sometimes off. it'll fit all 98+ xcabs. Hooking it up? idk. There may be threads asking it...I know i've seen 'em here before.

 

I sold my Tremor package in 02 for $500.00, just two months after I bought the truck because it just wasn't enough, especially for what it claimed to be, although I did keep the 120 watt capable pioneer door and rear speakers because I could easily amp those up. The sub, eh not so much. It's really a locked down version of a sub-par audio system, don't get me wrong; it can easily **** of the old man in the car next to you, but when compared to other more simple basic sup and amp setups, it just doesn't compare. I sold it on eBay with a full description and pictures of the funky connectors (they're alot different than stock) so that no one was mislead and the guy who bought it STILL asked me for a refund. His argument was that I didn't mention that it was a pain in the a$$ to hook up.

 

so that fits in the center console?

 

No it goes behind the seat in an Ex cab, I will have a HU for sale soon if someone wants to do the whole thing.
