you should put up year, bed length, and cab size.

From my experiences, no company will ship it without a box. I tried UPS and FEDEX with bubble wrap only. No go. They said that their automated equipment would tear the wrap up, so it must have a box.

My guess on the length would be an extended cab only.

I get tires off ebay just banded together, no box. I doubt the bubble wrap would hold, but it would be worth a shot. I'll say this, ups charges more to ship a round box than a square box of the same dimensions.

Just so you guys know I bought an aluminum driveshaft off ebay for my mustang and I received it in bubble wrap, it came perfectly fine via UPS ground.

I sent a guitar stand through FedEx that was cardboarded around but still in its general shape. Just make a flat place to the put the label. If you print it out online make sure you check the box that says that it is misshapen or irregular or whatever.

Theyll take it. And charge you for it.

Post whether you have a extended or supercab. I think that affects it. mayybe not.

extended cab is the extra cab but no back doors. supercabs have doors and they do open.

They might have quit making the the extended sometime, not sure.

i'm not sure if there is any difference in driveshaft length between the 2

There isn't any difference. We already established that

talking technicalities. any ranger cab that isn't a regular cab is an extended cab (or some people may call them super cabs). they are both the same thing regardless of how many doors they may or may not have.

You'll notice you said the difference in doors but never mentioned the driveshaft length. They're the same, just one has doors, one doesnt.

I'd love to have one of these for my standard cab but unfortunately there aren't any shops around here that are setup to shorten/weld/balance aluminum driveshafts.

I wonder how much benefit these things really have/give over a stock steel one? Just thinking out loud, sorry.

Why do you need a measurement? It's from a supercab. It fits other supercab trucks
