Hey folks, since I HAVE A 6-9 INCH LIFT WITH 35s, I would like to forgo the 4.56 gears and go straight to the 4.88, Is their anyone out there that are selling some? also is it a direct swap over into a 31 spline 8.8? thanks

 

uhm if you're talking about installing a ford explorer 31 spline 8.8 then no its not really a direct swap you'll have to relocate your spring perches to the other side and weld new shock mounts as well but besides that its pretty straight forward and easy

i have 4.88 gears for an 8.8, they will fit 98-05

 

I finally got my 8.8 4.88 gears with lockers, all disc setup and a straight swap over, this thursday and than i can finally add the bodylift and the 35's
