Custom flywheel from Culhane for 8bolt crankshaft(extremely hard to find SOHC flywheel!!!). Brand new Clutch installed, WITH spare. Lifetime warranty on clutch, slave, and master cylinder. Brand new master, band new slave, brand new pilot bearing and throw out. Hurst Short Shift kit installed. Custom brass bushing on the internals help reduce shifting wear and fatigue. Custom billet bearing retainers keep trans alive and tight. Cast ones usually break with any offroad. All of the parts are new, but the trans needs a new 3rd gear. I can have it rebuilt, or you can do it yourself. Everything was BRANDNEW in it.
the flywheel, clutches, parts, and shifter add up to almost 1000, not including the trans. Can include a custom crossemember and autofab tranny mount mounts. i am a long time member on another ranger board in southern california, i just figured more people out there than dezert racers would like a 5spd.
And yes, another 30hp... goto your local dyno guy and dyno an automatic... then dyno a 5spd. i have seen the sheets and it is easily 25hp to the REAR WHEEL! and i can get the dyno sheets when i had my truck done to prove it. 179rwhp from Camburg Engineering with a bunch of bolt on upgrades, or my 202rwhp with exahust and a intake.
i do HAVE another PCM and chip to remove the rev and shift from an automatic, but it would be in addition to if it were to be purchased. the SCT chip was 350$ and the tune was $125, adn the computer was $100. i'd sell it as part of the package for a good deal though, not nearly what i paid, but not giving it away
the automatic trannys should work right? i need the starter for the c4, they are the same... but if you want my used starter too, i will included it, i have a lifetime warranty on it at autozone so i can go get one and just take it back and get my $$.
seriously, im not trying to rip anyone off or anything, i just want to upgrade my stuff, ive been building my ranger for over 6years now, i know a thing or 2 about stuff when it comes to offroading. ive been racing for 4years on my own dime, and have built the truck with my own blood sweat and tears!
I am a normal guy just like you guys, i jsut dont 4wheel, i race. i have a ton of pics and videos i could post to show what we do out here in the southwestern states. I race in californa, arizona, and nevada... and if i had the money to race my OWN vehicle, i would race in BAJA! but for now, i codrive, and drive with other teams for now.
about the tranny, i have kept a 5spd in my truck for years to have an edge on the v8 rangers and original SOHC guys, but it can not withstand the abuse we through at it RACING. when i was just driving it around prerunning it lasted YEARS! then i decided to put the SOHC in, upgrade all my shocks, link the truck etc, and it cant handle the speeds i go, for the duration of a 4hr race. i have spare clutches, i have the tranny gone through every race, and i needed it for the extra HP. but now, i need the reliablity of a "shock" on my tranny... a torque convertor. if i still used the truck and it was a daily driver/prerunner and beer runner, i would keep the 5spd to smoke guys in a drag race, but i dont do that any more, and need the reliability so i can get more sponsors, to run bigger/longer races.

well then i will include the starter, but NOT the PCM, as i need it for my truck, and because i did the swap, i need it to remove the PATS system. i do have one, and can include it, but the person needs to buy the entire package to get the computer too. i have alot of $$ invested in this trans, and dont really want to get all of it back, but dont want to let it go for cheap..
i will supply as much as i can... but i am not giving up MY chip and MY computer... i have a custom tune on my truck from the dyno guy, so it is staying with my setup. but i can include the other one that i was going to use, and found out my local dyno guy couldnt use it. i had to drive down to sandy eggo to get it done.
