WTB: Stock Ranger Alloys (IA)

Hey R-F --

I'm interested in buying a set of OEM Ranger Alloys like this:

I know on this site my opinion is darn near sacrilegious, but I tend to prefer the look of trucks with standard Ford Alloys instead of aftermarket ones. Since I know a lot of people on here like to go with the custom look, I figured I’d see if there is anyone who wants to buy new wheels but wants to sell their old ones first.

So, if there is anyone in my area (I’d go to Des Moines, Minneapolis, Madison, and maybe even Chicago if the deal is good enough) that has a set of these in good condition that they don’t want any more? Just looking for rims, but would consider rims and tires.

Thanks
James

I've been looking on ebay, and haven't found any for a good price. It seems that most that I find are people trying to sell them one at a time to someone who just needs a replacement. $175 each... not a good price.

To be honest -- I'd take your stock ones over what came with my truck, lol

Steelies FTL... only two years old and starting to look pretty ragged. Stupid Iowa winters. I'll probably put snow tires on them and run them in winter -- after I re-paint them to keep the rust at bay.

Eh, that's what I'm finding. Oh well -- I'll keep looking

Ha - I didn't think about MSP CL. I checked all the other ones that are close (Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Dubuque, Des Moines, Rochester, Quad Cities). Thanks for the tip.

For those that have them - does anyone know if I can mount my TPMS sensors in these?

Yes you can. You will need to buy now bands though. They are about $5 a piece and any tire shop will have them. The sensors are not in the valve stems like most vehicles.

Personally, I would just pull the dash and disconnect the bulb, and leave the sensors off.
