I have about 40GB worth of pictures I am uploading to one of my sites. However, the program I am using WS FTP Pro, doesnt allow me to Quene up a bunch of files. Instead, it only allows you to move one folder at a time.
I could select them all, and try to upload it all in one big batch, but then it creates all the file names and directories in the destination, and then about 1GB into it, it fails, and wont allow me to resume. because it constantly fails. What makes this such a PITA is the fact that once all the folders and file names are created, you cant tell whats been uploaded, and what hasnt. And when your talking, upwards of 30,000 pictures, sorting thru whats been upped and what hasnt turns into a real btch!
So what I am loomking for is an FTP program that wont create all the files and folder names before actually uploading those files. Also, will allow me to upload in 'packets' So in stead of uploading all atonce, add say groups of 5 folders, and upload that group, then move on to the next group, so its like 250 megs each group, and then only create the file/folder names for the files its actually uploaded.
Any ideas?
