17" Mustang wheels on Ranger??????

Would these wheels fit my truck? Its a 2004 and 2wd. Or do I need a spacer? I can get them for 100 bucks and i can powdercoat them black so i feel like it'd be a good deal

Yes they'll fit but you do need spacers.

Not too sure, I've never actually done it myself. I'm sure someone else will chime in shortly though!

You will need a minimum of 1 inch spacers for the front , I am using 1 1/2 inch spacers on the front and 1 1/4 inch spacers on the rear . As for tire size , 245/45/17 , I am using 235/55/17 on mine , they are a bit tall so my speedo is running slow .

I had these on my truck for awhile. Tires were 32's and only rubbed at full lock.

02slammedranger I understand that, but they are 17x8.5 front/rear on that with 6.5" backspacing. Just giving you an idea. You definitely will need at least a 1" spacer.

you need spacers so the wheels will mount correctly. I think its because of the 2wd hub. The dust cap interferes.

so its not a rubbing issue other than the hub assembly

i run a 1.25" spacer to clear the dust cap...it also put the track width right with the rear. the wheels sat very nicely up to the fender edge. without them, they were tucked in a lot.

So you do not run the spacers in the back? The reason I ask so much is bc I just bought a set online for 75 bucks

i don't have any on the rear. i have an explorer axle, and that is 1.5" wider than a stock ranger axle.

no real need to run them to clear any covers
