OH JIMMEH! How much HP will i get if the emblems are DWB vs GO? I know I'll gain some by filling holes. Just wanna ask the mathamitician(speeling?).

Marie actually doesn't like the 06+ ranger emblems...it's really too bad I didn't know that when I destroyed my perfect condition stock emblems.

Acetone to take the stock black off. Masking tape(I use the awesome blue stuff that kicks butt and is expensive). Duplicolor adhesion promoter(2 coats). On goes the color...approx 3 coats or so. Then Duplicolor Automotive clear.

The rear emblem, the color is a Duplicolor color matched rattle can. Which unfortunately is out of production now for DWB. (DAMNIT!!!) Went to a local paint shop and had them mix me up a 1/2 quart of DWB/LL and I will use this nifty disposable aerosol thing. Uses a glass bottle, 3oz paint to 1oz thinner. On top of this glass bottle is an aerosol propulsion device and the paint sprays out of it. I used up all the rest of my Duplicolor DWB on a certain set of hand restraint devices....

 

Oh the irony...haha

It's a little too moist out in the shop right now(shootin' for a 90 degree day here). Once the sun goes down, we should be spraying some color.

 

Oh Billy! Remember that niteshade FAIL ranger emblem I had??? Well....laquer thinner and goo gone and acetone....I can't even tell the difference between it and the ones that just got the acetone!!

Got 'em from Ford from my hookup...this was before the price jump, I got both for about $75 for the pair! Now they are about $120 each or some crazy number like that. Mine are the all manual. I think there's a set in the classifieds for 110 shipped?
