What does it take? How easy is it?
To convert the front of my truck 2000 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 3.0L Stepside to the front of a 2001+?

Does it just bolt on?

What do you guys think?

Just seems that the aftermarket for those yeas are better for the front end! I like how those 01+ years all have the options for different headlight and corner lights instead of just clear stockers! Also the billet grill looks better too in my opinion because it will have a color matched outline on the bottom of the grill and headlights!

Anyways help me out has anyone else on here done that before, or is it a dumb idea? Otherwise I guess I will need to buy a 4X2 grill and cut that one up to fit the billet grill, because the 4X4 grill would look hacked up if I use that one!

 

your gana need new header panel its pretty simple from what ive read into it preety much bolts on im collecting my parts for my swap 2

 

Yeah everything bolts on, you need a 01 header panel, grille and lights. You can get a edge bumper, valance and hood if you want to go full with the conversion but its not necessary.

ya i was thinking of doing it too an that would answer my question for getting the new 07 fender flares cuz they would match up with my bumper just perfect i think ima do that this summer ha
