2001 Fog Lights

I have a 2001 XLT ranger and i want to put some fog lights in. i have the plastic lower bumber with the square for light inserts. do i just need to cut out the back of it and mount them in there or what?? let me know please and if so what type of fog lights?

the stock 01s wont fit in there perfect since they are round...you could try and get a valance from an 01-05...the 04 and 05 have square fogs though...

or you could just find some full fog light assembles and mount them in those holes...

ok well i was just looking cause i dont want to put a light bar up front and i cant put any lights behind the grille cause i have an external speaker for an aftermarket hron bolted in there...so i was just looking for my last option of fog lights.

i cant tell by the pic, but do you have some offroad lights already mounted on the bumper?

no i dont have any lights on the bumper i was thinking about it but im not to sure yet ive seen some i like and then again ive seen some i havent but those are the last things i am going to buy...and i would show you some pics but it took me forever to downsize the actuall ppicture and the quality came out all ****ty

thats what i thought theyd look like...you can get some full assemblies like i said before and mount them in there...but for a cleaner look id go with trying to get a valance from an 01-05 with fog light holes

first full assemblies like say the whole light with the harness and the wiring

and second when u say valence with the holes u mean already cut out

if you keep your valance then yes on the first part...

and yes a valance with the openings for the fogs already cut out

if you did get one like that you would just have to trim off those tabs that pop up on the sides...cheapest i found was about $90 on ebay...can usually find cheaper ones on craigslist as well

now would it be easier to find a new valence and round fog light assembly finding a square fog light assmebly?
