On my 2000 all you need is a screw driver (2 screws that hold handle bezel on and one down at the bottom of the door) and a torx bit (for the window crank) to take off the door panel. Once you get the bezel off and window crank the whole panel slides up then out. To change out the mirrors just a socket wrench with extension.

Just go out and buy a set. I didn't have any, went to Home Depot and bought a set and have been glad I did ever sense. You'll need them down the road for things, hell I had to use them to remove the seats out of my SS.
