Just saw this.
I replaced my sway bar links with the AC Delco set offered on RockAuto.
AC-D part # 45G0022 (GM part # 19460419) $32 with most basic postage to my zip code
People chided me for putting Delco parts on a Ford but these are just drop links. The style matched the ones I installed on a friend's F-150.
The Ford ones have an odd plastic coating, the benefits of which are unknown to me.
These Delco links' bolt and nut were much beefier than the Ford originals by quite a bit.

Thanx for info, I looked at Delco and was leaning towards them but I was at dealership for paint and ordered them at ford. They’re making new parts integrated now at Ford for example you can’t buy ball joints now u have to buy the whole A-arm just more work for their mechanics lol

I hear what you're saying but for the example of upper control arms coming with integral ball joints actually benefits the consumer.

It's a good idea to replace the "whole thing" as you get the control arm bushings renewed too. A shot upper ball joint wearing other parts is a classic example of why maintenance is necessary.

Sure, there might be some cases where pressing out the upper ball joint alone is a good option, but I'd bet it's rare.

Common is the scenario where the mechanic or garage doesn't have the capacity to press out/in a ball joint in a time-effective manner.

Integral upper arms have been around forever.
