Fiberglass Fender Flares

My problem is that the snows about to fly and my engine is exposed to the elements. Obviously, my inner fender wheel wells wont fit. Any ideas? ASAP!!! Thanks fellas.

get you some of the material that people use to make the home made gap guards......attach it as high up as you can and drape it down to the inner frame rail....

Is it like a polyurethane or just plastic?

just 1/4" rubber i believe......i think you can get it at Home Depot or Lowes...

I but my stock fenders back on and just left the gaurds out been a year and no problems

i had problem with rain in FL and it leaked. i actually had to rip out my floor covering cause the insulation absorbed the water and mold grew.

Looks like ya also got the stock ones back in? Or are those custom fab'd, ie: the Rubbermaid trashcan?

looks like stock cut down the middle

thats what i did when i ran fiberglass fenders

yea, i cut the stock. then used that garbage can to seal the 4"ish gap between it, and the fenders. in the 4th pic, you can see where the stock one is still bolted to the original spot. i never cut them.

you can kinda see what it looked like before i added the GARBAGE CAN.
