97 Ranger hood

Will the power dome hoods from the 2001 - 2003 rangers, fit a 97??

I thought about doin this a while ago, seemed the word around the street was the fenders don't line up and the hood latch doesnt work

Nope i thought the same thing,you'd have to change the fenders,put the front clip on and in order to do that since you have a 97 you'd have to get a rad support to.

The 97 was in a minor accident that bent the hood and thought now would be time to consider the replacement.

hmm that's interesting, theres a guy on TRS who has a powerdome on a third gen, held on with hood pins should ask if he had to fab anything

where it meets the grill there is a little gap but nothing big it fits decent

he had to have or its hanging past the grill in the front cause it isnt flush at the front

Damn that is a sick rig.

The hood not fitting right would bother me.
