quick DDM HID questions
So for Christmas I am getting myself and my dad HID. I already decided that I am getting 5000k 35W without High/Low for my Driving and Fog lights. Does anyone have anything good or bad about that setup? I just want to make sure I got everything right now ordering.
9007 is the bulb for headlight, corrrect?
and 9145 is fog light, but they dont have 9145. Which bulb do I order for my fog lights?
Also, does anyone know the bulb type for a 2003 F-150 just for the headlights. Gotta get my dad some for Christmas too.

Lame? I don't think he would have time to properly retro a projector into his dads f150 headlights, besides that would cost a lot of money and the gay projector/halos are a waste of money. If the headlights are aimed correct there is a minimal amount of glare coming from the hid in a reflector headlight.

Did you order yours yet? I ordered mine last night, hopefully they will be better then the ebay junks I had last year. From what other members say nothing but good things about DDM. I went with the hi/low 35w 6k. I probably won't ever use the high beams since the low beams light up the road just fine.

Don't get me wrong I would love to do a projector retrofit in my headlights and maybe I will someday but for now I would rather spend my money somewhere else on my truck. I took the time and aimed my headlights so they dont shine or glare to far above the mirror line of a standard sedan. I had my gf drive my truck by me while i was in her little civic sedan and i didn't feel like it was an overpowering glare or didn't have to turn my head away. I know for a fact half of the people in my area that put hids in their headlights don't adjust them and it blinds the hell out of you.

^^ BTW: The only reason his headlight has that bad of glare and pattern is because the lens isn't clear like the 2001+ model Rangers. That has a scatter partern headlight most comnly found on 95 and older Cars and Trucks.
And where are you getting these photo's from? A honda civic website? Ranger HID PICS
Please don't try to preach to us about the effects of HID in non projector housing, We all have found a way to make them less "glare" then others.
