Question on Toppers.

i got a 99 step side with the topper

Just wondering how much weight it could handle up top?

i want to make my own rack up on top but dont know if i would need to support it more than just how it is.

thats kinda what i want mine to look, but it would be a little more narrow because of the stepside.

It should be able to handle quite a bit of weight, as long as you build solid mounts and place them toward the edge of the corners.

andrew, your ranger is NOT a step side, a step side has the bed that is narrower than the cab, you have the "styleside" bed. truck looks good, though!

Thoes are just pictures of examples of how he wants his topper to look. I think that truck is PunkRockPilot's.
