Antenna to big??? vote
ok i bought a new cb antenna today, but i think i may have went to big..
its 5 ft.
I was planning on putting it on the rear bumper, but i think i am going to put it between the cab and bed.

do you think this looks to big?
maybe a 4 ft or 3 ft would be better.




this pic is before i took the other antenna off, and the tape is starting to give and fall over...lol

its off now cuz i just got it washed but...you see the spring on rear passenger side

haha i was waiting for someone to say that.

I dont use my cb everyday tho, only on road trips, and the other people are usually right next to me.

get dual antennas. I hear it adds no improvement, but aesthetically it looks better.

evan just mount it to the bumper it will be fine

i think it looks better where i have it in the pic..however if i cant figure out how to mount it there, it will be going on the bumper.

Looks fine, my whip is 108" and it's on my bumper, so that doesn't look too big at all to me.

It looks a little high right there to me, I think mine is a four foot and its on the bumper and it looks good. You have seen it.

evan is that a flexible fiberglass whip if not and you keep it there and you hit something that will snap in half

i say go for it...i was gonna get a wilson 1000 for the roof but i think thats too big so i think i might go for the 500
